While some funeral homes provide the services you need and make a modest profit which is acceptable, many gouge you in your time of need. They know you can't do it any other way and take advantage of your pocketbook. Maybe you're just not satisfied with what they offer. We are here to tell you there is another way. Do it yourself. Not many people know this, but you can have a DIY funeral that will save you thousands of dollars.
The service we provide is consultation. We will walk you through every step of what needs to be done when your loved one dies. From handling the body at time-of-death to burial and all the paperwork in between. We will do this at a tiny fraction of what it costs at a traditional funeral home. You can feel safe and secure that YOU are in complete control of the situation and are not paying thousands to someone else to do what you can do on the cheap. Be confident that dignity will remain with your recently deceased loved one. If, of course, it is too difficult for you to deal with, we urge you to use a funeral home.
PRICING:
- We will get three bare-minimum quotes from the funeral homes of your choice, and take a 20% fee of the lowest one. This is a HUGE, MONUMENTAL savings for you
- Funeral Arrangements cost more (though not much at all).
We are not licensed morticians, but then again, you don't have to be to arrange a memorial service, funeral, or other social event surrounding the deceased. There are special legal considerations when dealing with a decedent's body, and that will be discussed in-depth when you agree to the consultation.
You may pre-purchase our services so you can be prepared for the day, or wait until it is absolutely necessary. The consultation will begin after a contract is signed, with retainer, after a preliminary meeting to asses the practicality of a self-service funeral and your part in it. As always, we will be professional, courteous, and present ourselves in a manner befitting the occasion.
